Here we go again with very sporadic updates, but I figured this was a good time for it as I've added a new section to the page called "My Video Work."
See, this is because my friend alltimebrianna, or B as we call her, decided to give me the reigns to edit videos for her YouTube channel, primarily based off of things that happen in her livestream. As a result, I take the best moments and put them into video form that then get posted on her channel. I've not done anything ground-breaking here, but I've provided her something that I know she appreciates, and that's content to help cover gaps when she's unable to stream, or when she needs to take a few minutes away during a stream.
This has been a tremendous opportunity to flex a little bit of my editing prowess, but also to help a friend grow her content. I've been firmly entrenched in the community and it's been an absolute blast gaming with all the people I've met over the last year and a half. I'll get to meet many of them this August when I attend GCX, and I can't express how excited I am about that. To be part of this community and be a trusted member of B's circle of friends is remarkable and not something I take for granted.
I can only hope to continue to make her proud with my work, which again can be viewed on her YouTube channel, which is visible under "My Video Work," which also contains a few embedded videos I've produced.
That's about all for this update, so I'll see you all again next year when I inevitably remember to post again.

I continue to be terrible about updates (once a year, really?), but this a worthy one. After long being against Twitch's Affiliate program (and let's be clear, I still don't like a lot of what they have in there), I've ultimately decided to join it. Part of this because I'm really interested to see if I can push streaming forward more, but even more so due to the community that I've discovered and become a part of.
See, last August, I went searching for a new group of people to play Destiny 2 with. I was having fun in the game, but I was doing more and more stuff on a solo and/or duo basis, and I wanted to experience more. I went through the recommended tab and spent some time in a number of channels. I specifically was looking for something that felt comfortable, friendly, but most importantly, positive. I was tired of playing with people who hated the game, or just spent the entire time yelling about how much they hated what was going on.
I found that group in mid-August when I stumbled into AllTimeBrianna's stream. I was immediately greeted by not just the streamer, but by much of the community watching her, which was HUGE to me. I enjoyed what I was seeing, and intrigued by her community nights called Drinkstiny. In fact, I was able to participate in one not long after joining the community when she was doing dungeon runs with Witherhoard.
Now, it's worth noting that I'm not a huge chatter when I watch streams or go into Discord servers, but this one felt different.
I was right. It was different.
I've had the time of my life since then. I did all the raids I hadn't done yet, was able to do dungeons, and got pulled into my first Grandmaster Nightfall experience.
How did that go?
I just finished gilding my Conqueror title, so I'd say it goes well. I've developed a STRONG comradery with much of the community and I love it. Most nights I can be found in one discord channel or another, chatting away while we do random gaming things. It's been an incredible experience and I'm happy to be an extension of this family.
There's more to tell, but if you want to know, feel free to stop by my Twitch channel and say hi.
Until next update, see ya.

It goes without saying, but I already suck at this. But we already knew that was going to happen, so I won't pretend to be surprised. The last year has been rough in many ways. My health has not been good, primarily due to continuing kidney stone issues that cost more money than I have to deal with. The pandemic has continued to rage on, although that has had less impact on this than just me not feeling well. I spent many, many days over the previous year just knocked on my ass in bed.
But I'm still here and still working on stuff. YouTube is slow, but I'm hoping to pick back up in the future as I work on several different projects despite the constant discomfort from the kidney stones. I hope to resume streaming once I'm done with my system rebuild (upgrading to an AMD 3900x soon), and generally have been trying to get back to some sort of normalcy.
There's not much else to discuss. The site will remain simple as it just needs to serve as a navigation point for people looking to learn more about me, so that's what it's going to be.
Stay tuned for more updates in the future.

The site is live and operational! How much work I'll put into it is still to be determined. What this site will contain is also to be determined. What I do know is I wanted one place where I could centralize my content creation to make it easier, particularly on certain social media sites that only allow one website to be linked.
As it stands, it's very much a work in progress and it won't be anything too elaborate. Hell, I'd be happy if I could figure out embedding my Twitch stream as well as my blog, but I haven't, so you'll have to settle for buttons and descriptions of said pages.
I may expand this to do more in the future, but for now, I'm satisfied with how this has turned out. Take a look around, consider following me on social media, subscribing on YouTube, and following on Twitch if you find my stuff entertaining.
Until next update, that's all for now.
